Tomorrow could be a big day for The Brand New TV Show.   Stay tuned.   I've been coming up with some pretty good ideas for skits over the past few days.  I can't wait to put them down to paper and shoot them!

*fingers crossed everyone*

Ok, now I'm just testing stuff.

Getting ready to put some skits to paper for the next shoot on Sunday.

7-13-2009

Thank so much for all the positive feedback on the first two shows.   We appreciate it.   We shot two more shows on Sunday and I think the show is coming together nicely.

Please feel free to get the word out about the show and tell you friends.

And by the way - that running sequence made me sore for over a week!   That was exhausting.   Plus, you've got the director saying..."the lighting wasn't right - do it again."   Sheesh.

Maybe I'll get a personal trainer.......

WE NEED YOU!!

1.  We need a movie reviewer.   Send us a link to a youtube video of you reviewing a few recent movies and talking about the buzz for upcoming movies.

2.  We need a band.  Lots of bands.   We like to close out every show with a live band or DJ.

3.  We need Restaurant chefs.   If you want your signature dish to appear on The Brand New TV Show e-mail us.

4.  We need web/tech junkie.   Do you know someone who is absolute web/tech junkie that can talk about all the new tools, websites, social media and games on the intertubes?

We banged out two episodes of The Brand New TV Show yesterday.   Special thanks go out to Christine Major, @cmajor and Dr. Lou Jacobs @loutepes for guest co-hosting the first two shows.   (Dr. Lou needs followers on Twitter, Shhhh.)    Both of them really rose to the challange.

Please also visit www.sarahwallace.com as Sarah is our "as seen on tv mom."   Follow her  @sarah_wallace   GO SLANKET!

Leslie Poston is the co-author of "twitter for Dummies." which will be in book stores soon.  You can visit her website at www.uptownuncorked.com You can follow her @geechee_girl

Thanks also to Kirbysport, who was pinch hitting for Avery, and updated us as to what's going on around town.

The Sea Captains got us a great video for Show #1 and Meantone did a fantastic job with a live performance.   Michael Slawter of The Saving Graces got us a great sound for the opening music.

Scott Hamman of www.harborlightfilms.com was as usual the perfect balance of professionalism, perfectionism, and inexpensive - ism.   ;-)   (right Scott?)

Heather Guglielmo and DJ Dan Burke were both a HUGE help when needed and even worked themselves into a skit or two.   ;-)     Dan Burke almost crushed my ribs with his first chest bump and I'm still heartbroken over Heather's comment when applying makeup to me - "No amount of makeup can help.... THIS!"

Makeup was ACTUALLY done by Karen from Kosmein Day Spa in Westbrook.   Thanks for making us all look good!   http://www.kosmeindayspa.com/

www.thebrandnewtvshow.com is the website.

First show to tentatively air July 1st.

Thanks all,

Matthew
